What are the options for event space rental?
- EV Social Complex has multiple event spaces available for rent. EV Social Complex consists of two locations and multiple unique event spaces both indoors and outdoors. Event spaces are as follows:
Location-1: EV Social Complex
- Ballroom with balcony
– Patio F (front)
– Patio S (side)
- EV Social Lounge – (lower level)
– Pool table
EV Unity Center – opening fall 2027
EV Courtyard – opening summer 2027
- Outside event space with stage
Location-2: Crimson Cocktail Lounge
- The Hideaway – (lower level); opening fall 2026
- The Hive – (upper level)

What is the capacity for each event space?
Our event spaces can accommodate up to 150 guests depending on seating arrangement. Below are the following number of people for both social events and seated events. Depending on the event setup, the number of people may vary.

- Balcony – (50 social/30 seated)
- Patio A-front – (50 social/20 seated)

EV Cocktail Lounge

How much does it cost to rent your event space?
Our prices varies depending on the event, space, date, and amenities. Prices may change without notice.
BALLROOM
- VIP Package – $825 (5 hrs.)* – Includes Entertainment Package (value $200)
- Gold Package – $700 (4 hrs.)*
COCKTAIL LOUNGE
$450 – (4 hrs.)*
SOCIAL LOUNGE
$500 – (4 hrs.)*
THE HIVE
$350 (3 hrs.)*
*Additional hours may be available for $150 per hour up to two (2) hours.
What is your alcohol policy?
Our private event spaces are a B.Y.O.B. establishment and our public event spaces are cash bar & kitchen establishment.
Additional fees and regulations apply to rentals wishing to serve alcoholic beverages. Alcohol is not allowed to be served with a licensed bartender who currently has an active liquor license.
Are there any restrictions on decorations?
Yes, we do have some retractions on decorations. There is absolutely no drilling, stapling, hammering of any kind, or anything else that will hurt the property in any way. No tape on the stair banisters. No hanging anything on the walls, ceilings, lights, including backdrops, drapery, balloons, pictures, etc. If you have doubt, please confirm with management.
Are there any restrictions on the type of events to be held?
Yes. There are absolutely NO social media events to increase “likes” and/or followings, NO events turning the space into a club vibe, NO events that is not legal to hold in the state of MO and St. Louis County, NO events that are not in the best interest of EV Social Complex.
Do you allow outside catering/food?
Yes, you are welcome to bring food/catering services. We also have an in-house caterer as well.
Rental Fees vs. Security Deposit
Deposits are separate from the Rental fees and are returned in full, provided the facilities are left in good condition and renters comply with the terms of the rental agreement.
Hourly fees include the use of the room as well as tables and chairs. Ice is available for purchase.
Security deposits are required to cover the cost damages and must be submitted prior to the event. The Security Deposit will be returned in the same form of payment received within 48 hours of the event. CASH is not accepted at any time.
Cancellation Policy
Renters wishing to cancel a rental date must notify EV Social Complex thirty days (30) prior to the rental date in order to receive a partial refund. Cancellation notices received less than thirty days in advance of the rental date will result in the forfeiture of the renter’s security deposit and/or rental fees.
Rental Fees
Hourly fees include the use of the room as well as tables and chairs. Ice is available for purchase. Note that there are special fees for each hour beyond normal operating hours of the Complex. Other prices may apply for community organizations and/or fundraising events.
