Event Spaces at EV Social Complex

EV Social Complex offers multiple versatile event spaces across two locations, featuring both indoor and outdoor environments designed to accommodate a wide range of celebrations, gatherings, and entertainment experiences. Each space has its own unique character, giving clients the flexibility to choose the perfect setting for their event.

 

LOCATION-1  (8132 Scott Ave., Kinloch, MO 63140) 

  • EV Social Ballroom with Balcony

A spacious, elegant indoor venue ideal for weddings, receptions, banquets, and large celebrations. The attached balcony adds a stylish elevated view of the space. 

  • Patio-F (Front)

An inviting outdoor patio located at the front of the venue—perfect for taking a moment outside the event to get a breath of fresh air. 

  • Patio-S (Side)

A versatile side patio offering additional outdoor space for mingling or small group activities. 

  • EV Social Lounge – Lower Level

A relaxed, modern social lounge featuring comfortable seating and entertainment amenities, including a pool table, ideal for social events, game nights, or casual gatherings. 

  • EV Courtyard, Outdoor Event Space with Stage – Opening Fall 2027

A beautifully designed outdoor courtyard space is coming soon, offering the perfect setting for open‑air celebrations, ceremonies, and community events. This area will also feature a dynamic outdoor event space equipped with a stage—ideal for live performances, concerts, showcases, and community gatherings. 

  • EV Unity Center – Opening Fall 2027

A new multi‑purpose event center designed to host larger gatherings, community programs, and special events.

  • Crimson Cocktail Lounge

A unique and versatile lounge featuring comfortable seating, outdoor access, and an intimate party vibe—perfect for social gatherings, celebrations, and stylish nightlife‑inspired events. 

  • The Hideaway – Lower Level (Opening Fall 2027)

A stylish, intimate lounge space designed for private parties, networking events, and exclusive gatherings. 

  • The Hive – Upper Level

A vibrant event space with a modern atmosphere, perfect for baby reveals, intimate dinners, sip and paint, mixers, book signings, and more.

Capacity by Event Space

EV Social Complex offers multiple event spaces, each designed to comfortably accommodate different group sizes. Capacity limits are based on safety guidelines, layout, and the intended use of the space.

Space Capacities

  • Ballroom: Accommodates up to 200 guests/150 seated
  • Social Lounge: Accommodates up to 150 guests/120 seated
  • Cocktail Lounge: Accommodates up to 120 guests/80 seated
  • The Hive: Accommodates up to 75 guests/60 seated

Rental Rates (All-Inclusive)

Doors open 30 minutes before the event start time.

  • The selected time block
  • Any additional services requested

VIP Package – $825 (5 hrs.)*

  • Includes black table linens, mart TVs, sound system, lighting for ambiance, upper balcony & Entertainment Package (value $200)

Gold Package – $700 (4 hrs.)*

  • Includes black table linens (Does not include upper balcony or Entertainment Package)

SOCIAL LOUNGE – $550 – (4 hrs.)*

COCKTAIL LOUNGE – $450 – (4 hrs.)*

    May be added for $150 per hour (maximum of two (2) extra hours)

Alcohol Service Policy

  1. BYOB Facility Designation
    The premises operate exclusively as a Bring Your Own Beverage (“BYOB”) facility. Guests and event hosts may bring alcoholic beverages for personal consumption subject to the terms outlined herein.
  2. Additional Fees and Compliance Requirements
    Any rental or event intending to serve or permit the consumption of alcoholic beverages is subject to additional fees, conditions, and compliance requirements as determined by the facility. These requirements must be satisfied prior to the commencement of the event.
  3. Prohibition on Licensed Bartenders
    Alcoholic beverages may not be served, distributed, or handled by any individual who currently holds an active liquor license or is employed as a licensed bartender. All alcohol service must be conducted in accordance with the facility’s BYOB guidelines and applicable laws.
  4. Age Restrictions
    Only individuals 21 years of age or older may bring, possess, purchase, or consume alcoholic beverages on the premises. The event host is responsible for ensuring compliance with all age‑related laws and verifying the age of attendees when necessary.
  5. Responsibility and Liability
    The event host assumes full responsibility for the conduct of all guests and for ensuring that alcohol is consumed safely and lawfully. The facility reserves the right to remove any individual or terminate any event for violations of this policy or for behavior deemed unsafe or unlawful.
  6.  No alcohol may be sold on the premises. Clients and guest may not: sell alcoholic beverages, charge for alcohol, include alcohol in tickets sales, or exchange alcohol for donations. We are a B.Y.O.B. facilty. 
  7. Alcohol must be supplied by the client or their guests. EV Social Complex does not sell, purchase or provide alcohol of any kind.

Decoration Policy

To protect the integrity of our facility and ensure a safe environment for all guests, EV Social Complex has specific guidelines regarding decorations. Please review the following restrictions before planning your event. 

Prohibited Decoration Methods

For the safety and preservation of the property, the following are not allowed:

  • No drilling, stapling, hammering, or use of any tools that could damage walls, floors, ceilings, or fixtures.
  • No tape of any kind on doors, walls, windows, or banisters. 
  • No tape of any kind on doors, walls, windows, or banisters. Tape could damage the walls and/or remove the paint.
  • No hanging items (without permission) from walls, ceilings, lights, or any structural elements. This includes:
  • Backdrops
  • Drapery
  • Balloons
  • Pictures
  • Signage
  • Any other hanging décor 

When in Doubt

If you are unsure whether decoration or installation is permitted, please contact management for approval before your event. We’re happy to help you find safe alternatives that still bring your vision to life.

 

Yes — outside food and catering services are welcome at EV Social Complex. You are free to bring your own dishes, hire the caterer of your choice, or coordinate with your preferred food vendor.

Food sales are not allowed on our property unless approved by management prior to the event. If approved, there will be an additional fee required depending on the types of food being sold. 

Deposit Policy

Booking Deposit

A booking deposit is required to secure your event date.

  • This deposit is applied to your remaining balance when the original date is kept.
  • If the event date is changed, the booking deposit becomes non‑refundable, as the venue was held and unavailable for other rentals. 

Security Deposit

A security deposit is required for all events and is separate from rental fees. This deposit must be submitted before the event date and is used to cover any damages or violations of the rental agreement.

Your full security deposit will be returned within 48 hours of your event if:

  • The facility is left in good condition
  • No damage or violations occur
  • All terms of the rental agreement are followed

Security deposits are returned in the same form of payment in which they were received.


CASH is not accepted at any time.

Event Restrictions

At EV Social Complex, we strive to maintain a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all guests. To protect the integrity of our space and ensure compliance with local regulations, certain types of events are not permitted. 

Prohibited Events

The following events are not allowed at EV Social Complex:

  • Social media–driven events created solely to increase “likes,” followers, or online engagement.
  • Any event that is illegal under Missouri state law or St. Louis County regulations.
  • Events that conflict with the best interests of EV Social Complex, including those that may compromise safety, reputation, or community standards. 

Right to Decline or Cancel Events

EV Social Complex reserves the right to deny or cancel any event request that does not align with these guidelines or that may negatively impact the facility, staff, or guests.

Cancellation Policy

Renters who wish to cancel their event must provide notice to EV Social Complex at least thirty (30) days before the scheduled rental date to receive a partial refund.

Cancellation requests received less than 30 days before the event will result in the forfeiture of the renter’s security deposit and/or rental fees, as the reserved date could not be made available to other clients.

EV Social Complex reserves the right to cancel any event that does not adhere to the Policies of EV Social Complex.
